The Woodford County Public Schools Department of Educational Technology serves to provide students with a 21st Century education that leverages the use of technology to enhance student learning and prepare students with the skills required to compete for jobs in an increasingly technical and global economy. Woodford County Public Schools is a frontrunner nationally in the implementation of cutting edge technology in the classroom. Boasting one of the state’s first 1:1 student computing initiatives, each student in 7th through 12th grades receives a school issued device. Across the district students have access to more than 3000 computers/Chromebooks, 1000 iPads, 200 Intelligent Classrooms, 100 SMART Boards and a variety of other educational technologies.
